Mozart’s The Magic Flute (Die Zauberflöte) is one of his last works and an opera full of wonder, fantasy, and enchantment. A sensation since its debut in Vienna in 1791, it is a microcosm of Mozart’s mature genius. Classes will give listeners a fuller understanding of the story (libretto), the music, Mozart as man and composer, and the era in which it was created.
Class fee $50 / $40 for members includes tickets for the simulcast.
