The Arts Center enriches the Jamestown area community through the arts by: educating youth, changing lives through creativity, preserving heritage and culture for generations.
The Arts Center serves as the arts and cultural hub for our community. We are the venue, logistical & financial support that brings fine art exhibitions, cultural festivals, readings & humanities presentations, community theater productions, art classes & workshops, resident artists and various performing artists to the area. Our programs reach every age group, sector and social group in our community.
Our arts programming includes placing artists in the elementary schools, holding arts after school classes, conducting year-round art classes for children and adults, developing the only green space downtown, providing a stage for community theatre, participating in Art for Life at the elder care centers, organizing heritage festivals and bringing performing artists of all kinds to town.
